From Beth

The Center For Furniture Craftsmanship 3-month Woodturning Intensive has become one of my favorite teaching experiences of the year. Getting to spend 3-months sharing the techniques I have learned over a lifetime is exhilarating. The more I teach the more I learn. I might teach a technique I have always utilized in a certain way and one of my students comes up with something so incredible it blows my mind. This has happened several times in the last 12 weeks. My students were committed, fearless and focused. They each discovered a path that was individual and unique. I will miss them. It is so amazing to see a group of strangers come together, develop friendships, and influence each other. The mix is always unpredictable which makes teaching this class so much fun. Tomorrow I leave for home. Here are some pieces from our final show and tell.
