Gus

Bobbie our shop tech

Yesterday my fellow ITE colleagues and I went to the work place of Gus. Gus is person that is difficult to describe, bigger than life, he zooms around his work place like a zephyr. His work place happens to be the 9000-acre park system in the middle of Philadelphia. We followed him around the back roads in hopes of snagging some beautiful wood. We started by going to find storm damaged groves of Holly in the woods and ended at a giant pile of logs by the Park Department building. It was an amazing day. When we got back everyone was so inspired we all turned a wet bowl from pear.

    Nothing like FREE green wood
especially if it keeps it from the mulch pile!
